Who can attend? Why is it sometimes called Level I Instructor course?
The KAPAP LEVEL I Course is open to everyone and no prior experience is required. However, we keep the right to admit students and every candidate must have an online interview with one of our senior instructors before he is admitted to the course.
In this course we will get a chance to know the participants closely and identify the ones who we think have potential as future instructors. On the one hand, some of the current KAPAP instructors will be participating in the course helping out and 'fine-tuning' their skills, on the other hand, some of the participants are currently in their instructor formation period. This is why we sometimes call it a LEVEL I instructor course. Before you can qualify as a Certified Level I Instructor and go for your Level II course... you must do the Level I Course at least 4 times (max. 2 per year). The good news is that you only pay full price for it once.
Everyone is welcome. No prior experience required. We reserve the right of approving applicants (or not) on a per-case basis.

The closes airport is Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) - 5 mins.
If needed you can fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) - 30 mins.

What should I bring?
Training gear for 5 days (Gi/BDU/training pants, t-shirts, belt, training shoes, sneakers, sweatshirt, extra shirts, etc).
Training knife + plastic training pistol + holster.
Personal first aid kit.
Casual clothing for nights.
