The last weeks of 2011 were very cold here in South Florida - seriously :-) -and in a few classes we worked with our jackets on... Great for manipulation of your opponents 'form' and many other 'applications'.

very good to see the options u have against someone with a jacket. And also an eye opener as to the disadvantages of certain jackets.(hoodies or jackets with draw strings). 1/23/2012 03:21:26
Yeah I remember winters in Detroit and it is harder to get into a fight with a jacket on because of mobility. But it does protect you a little bit in regards to a straight on punch to the stomach. Also you can throw the other guy around pretty easy when you grab on to his jacket. This is a pretty sweet post especially for somebody used to warmer climates.

Yes, you have to be aware of what do you wearing, I don't mean it in a fashion sense, but how your own clothing can be used against you in a fight, just like Brandon pointed out the hoodies and strings, also tie or a baseball hat can be used to manipulate movement or simply blind you.
